The corrosion tests by condensation
are oriented to know the behavior of the samples under conditions of high
humidity and high temperature, checking if there is some type of defect in the
protection facing an accelerated study. The most common standards are: ISO-6270-2 and ASTM
D2247, BS 3900,… The typical humidostatic chambers are small to do test
to a big samples like some automotive components, so it’s is necessary to do
the test in a bigger chamber, walk-in chamber.
