DIN 50 017 - KK; Humidostatic test.

The DIN 50 017 standard is used to analyze the protective coating of the samples.

The sample will be tested in a heated and sutured atmosphere (temperature must be +40ºC) and relative humidity of 100%. This conditions will be constant in all the duration of the test.

DYCOMETAL, company with over 25 years experience in developing simulation chambers for environmental testing, offers customers Humidostatic Chambers to carry out such tests.

DIN 50 017- KFW; Humidostatic test

The DIN 50 017 standard is used to analyze the protective coating of the samples.

The sample will be tested, in two cyclical parts; first cycle of 8 hours in heated, sutured air and water vapor, temperature will be +40ºC and relative humidity of 100%. The second cycle has 16 hours, in a temperature of +18 to 28ºC, while relative humidity must to be less than 100%.

Combined Climatic chamber with vibration systems (AGREE chamber)

These chambers combined, also called AGREE chambers, combine the own conditions of temperature and humidity in a climate chamber, with vibration, to simulate climatic and vibrational conditions, similars to those must bear the equipment or material throughout its life useful during operation.

These chambers were demanded in the military industry, and now, their function has been extended to other markets like: automotive, aerospace, etc.

The agree chamber are manufactured with an adapted floor in order to introduce a vibrational system below the chamber. This vibrational system holds the device under test. The chambers have a high temperature change rate, subjecting the sample to a highly accelerated stress.

The chambers have a flexible design, because in the market exists a lot of models and sizes of vibrational systems.

The floor of the chamber can be changed by a rigid floor without hole, so the chamber could be used like climatic chamber independently.

DYCOMETAL, company with over 25 years experience in developing simulation chambers for environmental testing, offers customers Agree Chambers to carry out such tests.

Climatic Test Chambers

Climatic test reproduce the climatic conditions in temperature and humidity, to which the equipment or materials will be subjected during operation, transport or storage.

It’s necessary, do these tests in the validation plan of a new product or over its production, to evaluate equipment behavior, in its climatic use conditions, and prevent malfunctions in the market.

Climatic chambers simulate humidity and temperature conditions that will affect to the product along its lifetime.

Applications:

·        Environmental simulation.
·        Accelerated aging.
·        Quality control.
·        Materials research.
·        Stability.
·        Humidity conditioning.
·        Controlled humidity and temperature storage.
·        Plants growing.
·        Seed germination.

Thermal Shock Chamber

Thermal shock chambers are a fundamental element to do thermal fatigue in materials, equipments and automatism. They are used in automotive, aeronautical, aerospace, electronic, telecommunication and generally in the research and develop study in materials.

The chamber has two separated compartments, with different temperature and humidity conditions. One compartment has high temperature (around 200ºC/ 392ºF) and the other one has a lower temperature (-70ºC/ -94ºF). The sample is placed in one mobile platform, and with the movement of the platform between the compartments, is submitted to sudden changes in temperature. This movement is doing in a few seconds.

Standards like: MIL-STD 810, MIL-STD 883B, MIL-STD 202E, NFC 20-605, NFC 20-705, CEI 68.2.14, etc, requiere these type of tests.

DYCOMETAL, company with over 25 years experience in developing simulation chambers for environmental testing, offers customers Thermal Shock Chambers to carry out such tests.

Kesternich Test Chamber

The DIN 50 018 standard give conditions for Kesternich Corrosion test. This test has been done to simulate industrial or urban atmosphere, by means of the formation of an artificial atmosphere, adding to the air Sulphurous Anhydrid, with or without carbon dioxide.

With the Kesternich’s Test we can get an artificial atmosphere with the best approximation to the results obtained when in sulphurous natural atmospheres some metals are expounded to it.

The Kesternich Test consists of a cycle of 24 hours slit in two parts: the first one consists of 8 hours with closed chamber and the pieces in its indoor, situated according to the Regulations and expounded to 40ºC inside of which 0,2 or 2 liters/ gr. of Sulphurous Anhydrid are introduced with a 100% of RH.

After this period of time, another stage of 16 hours goes on. In this stage the door is open, the heating is stopped and the pieces are exposed to the Ambiance Temperature of the air (according to SFW variant of the DIN 50.017/ 50.018). The test finishes when an inadmissible influence appears in the aspect of the expounded pieces or when the accorded number of cycles for the Test's duration has been reached.

DYCOMETAL, company with over 25 years experience in developing simulation chambers for environmental testing, offers customers Kesternich test chambers to carry out such tests.

Cyclical Corrosion Test Chamber

The cyclical corrosion test chambers, allow the realization of environmental tests, combined different techniques: salt spray chamber, condensation and dried with temperature/humidity control. These chambers are programmed in order to alternate the test in any sequence or to reproduce automatically.

This type of test is used commonly in the industries: automotive, aeronautical, paints, etc.

The most common standards are: CCT-1, CCT-2, CCT-4, ECC-1, D17 2028, GM9540P, ISO11997-1, ISO14993, JASO M 609, etc.

Salt Spray Chamber

One of the most important destructive agents of the nature is the corrosion, being one of the principals causes of economic lose.

All the markets: automotive, aeronautical, railway, paints or any type of metal treatment industry, have corrosion test simulation inside their quality standards.

The Salt Spray Corrosion Test consists of an accelerated corrosion attack by an artificial salt spray of a certain composition, in the exact conditions of temperature and pressure. To do this type of tests, it uses the salt spray chambers.

Standards like: ASTM B117, ISO 9227, DIN 50 021, JIS Z 2371, etc, give a test parameters to simulate the most aggressive atmosphere.
