Microelectronics laboratories research high-energy physics, astroparticle physics and cosmology, developing technologies and contributing to society by applying the knowledge and vision acquired in strategic sectors. Products such as pixel detectors, telescopic cameras and detectors for medical imaging are some of the products developed and researched within this scientific branch. These products have to be tested in climatic conditions in order to guarantee their performance in adverse conditions of temperature and humidity.
Our CCK-70/180T chamber has been developed to work at low test temperatures with dry environments to prevent humidity from affecting the testing process. The chamber was also built without an observation window in order to avoid the entry of external light that could affect the product, as these are photosensitive products. The chamber also has the possibility of working in humid atmospheres if necessary. All this is controlled by an advanced microprocessor and software for remote control and reporting.
