Sometimes our clients don't need a custom solution; a standard solution is sufficient for their environmental testing needs. That's where our standard solutions come in. This was the case for the electronics department of a European university that was looking for a rain test chamber.
 
The requirements were:

Our client, a major manufacturer of electronics for telecommunications satellites, already had 7 AFA-100/768 ovens, but due to increased production, they needed to expand the number of environmental tests under controlled temperature conditions, ensuring proper functioning during component development.
 
The conditions they were looking for were similar to the previous ones:

Our client, a leading manufacturer of piping for the fluid transport sector, wanted to temper hydrogen pipes during tensile testing to evaluate the behavior of the samples under both the forces they endured and at extreme temperatures. For this, they needed a chamber capable of reaching extreme temperatures and perfectly compatible with their existing tensile testing machine.

The required specifications were:

OUR SOLUTION: Our CETM-70/156Te thermal testing chamber is adapted to the customer's existing tensile testing machine and features a chamber extraction system for testing with or without thermal conditioning. It includes a large, highly transparent front and side viewing window. Removable top and bottom ports allow for chamber removal without loosening clamps. All controls are managed via a touchscreen and remote control software, which can be connected to the customer's tensile testing system.

What did they need?
馃憠 Two climatic chambers with temperature and humidity control to simulate indoor and outdoor building conditions, with the option of being walkable to introduce sensors, equipment, etc.
馃憠 A large and robust sample holder to separate chambers with different types of insulation.
馃憠 Mobility to allow for the placement of large samples between the two chambers. 
馃憠 Temperature ranges from 0°C to +50°C for indoor conditions.
馃憠 Temperature ranges from -30°C to +70°C for outdoor conditions.
馃憠 Relative humidity control in both test chambers.
馃憠 Synchronized control in both systems, managed by a central system.
 
OUR SOLUTION: The CCKMB2-0-30/15000Te dual-chamber system. An environmental simulation system built with two climatic chambers, one for outdoor conditions and one for indoor conditions, and a mobile sample holder to easily and conveniently position the building component to be tested in the middle, aligning the three systems to prevent leaks at the joints and ensure maximum airtightness. The climatic chambers have a usable volume of 15 m³, allowing easy access for personnel, samples, etc. The control is based on a dual independent system for each chamber, to be able to perform independent temperature and humidity cycles, but all managed from a general PC that can centralize both systems and perform seasonal cycles.

CLIMATIC TEST CHAMBER FOR PACKAGING VALIDATION. CLIMATE CHAMBER CCKMB-40-5625T

Our client, a renowned independent laboratory specializing in the physical testing and validation of packaging for transport, needed to increase the number of units to expand its climate testing capacity.

The required specifications were:

馃憠 Medium-to-large chamber volume for all types of samples.

馃憠 Modular chamber that could be easily moved if needed.

馃憠 Temperature range down to -40潞C for ultra-freezing tests.

馃憠 Humidity control.

馃憠 High stability and uniformity.

OUR SOLUTION: Based on other models supplied to this client, we opted for two MODUBLOC climatic chambers, models CCK-40/5625T. These chambers have a 5.6 m³ internal volume capacity, a large access door, and a very vertical design to accommodate tall samples. The interior is made of stainless steel, and the exterior is mounted on a frame that allows for easy movement of the entire chamber unit if needed, while also providing a natural cooling zone. Temperature ranges from -40°C to +80°C, with gradients tailored to the client's requirements. All of this is controlled by an advanced touchscreen controller.

CLIMATIC TESTING FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS. CCK-30/1500T CLIMATIC CHAMBER

A major European university needed a chamber to conduct climatic tests on thermal and acoustic insulation materials, controlling temperature and humidity. This client already owned freeze-thaw (FTH) chambers from our company and entrusted us with the task of finding a suitable chamber for their needs.

The required specifications were:
馃憠 Medium-to-large chamber volume for all types of samples.
馃憠 Temperature range suitable for construction materials.
馃憠 Humidity control.
馃憠 High stability and uniformity.
 
OUR SOLUTION: The 1500-liter climatic test chamber, MODEL: CCK-30/1500T. This 1500-liter chamber, measuring 1000 x 1000 x 1500 mm (H x W x D), provided ample space for long test specimens. The chamber offered a temperature range from -30°C to +150°C and cooling gradients of 2.5 K/min and heating gradients of 4 K/min, enabling it to perform even some freeze-thaw tests. The CCK-T systems feature extended relative humidity control for conducting tests with more demanding humidity requirements. All of this was controlled via an advanced 7” touchscreen control system and our new totem with an operating status indicator light.

HOW TO PROPERLY TEST PAINT DRYING UNDER CONTROLLED CONDITIONS? CCK-25/125T CLIMATIC CHAMBER

 A client in the paint industry encountered a problem:

CETM-40/99225mT, WALK-IN THERMAL TEST CHAMBER FOR THE RAILWAY INDUSTRY

Climate Simulation: Ensuring Reliability in Rail Transport. The railway industry demands the highest standards of quality and reliability. Every component must function perfectly under the most adverse conditions. Environmental testing is essential to ensure that these systems meet passenger safety requirements, as safety components must operate at extreme temperatures, from -40°C to +60°C.

The DYCOMETAL CETM-40/99225mT thermal test chamber has been designed to test large and heavy components thanks to its more than 99 m³ of usable capacity. Due to the size and weight of the samples to be tested, the chamber design includes an easily opened, single-leaf sliding door for convenient sample loading. Operating temperatures range from -40°C to +70°C, allowing samples to be subjected to the most extreme temperature environments. The system also includes our modern totem unit, which integrates the control panel and a large status light for enhanced visibility.
