SUPPLYING OF TWO FORCED AIR HEATING OVENS AFA-250/490, FOR AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

 We are pleased to announce that we have just supplied 2 forced air ovens for the automotive industry. These laboratory ovens are based on our standard 490 litre design, with internal dimensions of: 1000 x 700 x 700 mm (H x W x D). The ovens have a temperature range from ambient +10 ºC to +250 ºC, with gradients of 2 ºC/min. The supply is complemented by 2 trays per oven, as well as an advanced microprocessor-based control system with associated remote control software for data logging and reporting of each test.

These ovens will be used for thermal testing of automotive parts at high temperatures, to analyse the resistance of materials to such temperatures, as well as to perform surface treatments and curing.

FORCED-AIR HEATING OVEN FOR THE TREATMENT OF ZINC OR NICKEL-PLATED SURFACES, AFA-300/1440T-9

In order to improve the protective and durability properties of treated surfaces such as zinc or zinc-nickel, a top coat must be applied. This coating is an additional transparent or slightly tinted layer that will act as a barrier against external aggressions, thus increasing the durability of the surface treatment against degradation and oxidation even in the most hostile environments, as well as adding an aesthetic touch.

Our AFA-300/1440T-9 oven has been designed to carry out treatment cycles on a large quantity of dough (800 kg) taking into account the different dimensions of the pieces, which is why, in addition to a reinforced floor, it has 5 trays for a large quantity of dough. In order to carry out this special treatment, the oven must rapidly increase its temperature to maintain it for at least 24 hours. Its refractory steel interior and stainless steel exterior ensure the maximum resistance of the equipment to this extreme process.

ANOTHER TEMPERATURE TEST TESTING CHAMBER MODUBLOC, Mod. CETMB-25/6220T

Another TEMPERATURE TESTING CHAMBER sent. In this case it is a MODUBLOC chamber, model: CETMB-25/6220T, designed for tests on welding stations. A chamber with 6220 liters of capacity. The equipment is designed to be able to compensate all the energy that will be generated inside (7.5 kW) at a working temperature of -10 ºC, also taking into account all the mass inside (160 kg). The whole system will be controlled by a controller based on an advanced touch screen microprocessor with exact control of the PIDs.

The chamber is built with the cooling unit integrated in the same structure, so that all the equipment can be moved later and the installation is easy to carry out.

There are different cooling options within the climatic chambers, one of them based on the use of liquid nitrogen as a refrigerant, but this system is not very cost-effective as it always has a consumable, which is why mechanical systems provide a more economical option in the long run over the cooling of a climatic chamber used in traction machines.

The CETM-30/182e model was designed to fit into the free space between columns of the tensile machine, complying with the customer's test specifications taking into account the mass to be introduced into the equipment.

STRESS SCREENING CHAMBER (15 K/min), FOR ELECTRONICAL COMPONENTS – AIR COOLED. MODEL, CETM-70/1000T-15

High-gradient testing, or ESS, in the development of electronic components serves to detect defective components by "stimulation", not "simulation", by overcoming the expected environmental conditions that the samples will undergo. 

The thermal test chamber model CETM-70/1000T-15, has been configured according to all the customer's needs. With a 10" touch screen control panel, it allows precise control of the temperature parameters. Due to the customer's installation, the chamber had to be air-cooled, with the cooling unit positioned at a distance of 25 metres. It also has an additional 15" control panel with integrated software for powerful analysis in the chamber itself.

TEMPERATURE CHAMBER FOR ELECTRICAL CABLE TESTING. MODEL: CETM-70/1800

One of the elements that can considerably affect an ELECTRICAL CABLE is the cold, affecting the mechanical characteristics of the cable. The different test standards (UNE, IEC, HD, BS, UL, CSA) establish the extreme test conditions to which cables must be subjected, allowing to verify the design and the choice of the most suitable materials for cable manufacturing.  

The temperature test chamber, CETM-70/1800, has been designed to carry out extreme tests up to -65 ºC, taking into account the mass introduced as well as the tool used to elongate or bend the electric cable during the test. Its vertical volume allows to comfortably place and manipulate the samples inside.

LARGE VOLUME THERMAL SHOCK CHAMBER - 2500 LITRES, MODEL: CRT2H-40/2500

Thermal shock chambers are a fundamental element for the thermal fatigue testing of materials, equipment and automatisms. They are predominantly used in the following industries: aeronautics, automotive, military, electronics, telecommunications, space and, in general, in the materials research industry. The configuration of these chambers is usually vertical, but when the parts have a very large volume, it is necessary to opt for a horizontal design that allows the thermal shock to be carried out from right to left and vice versa.

The CRT2H-40/2500 thermal shock chamber was a great challenge for Dycometal, since few chambers with this volume have been manufactured, nor so demanding. The development of the chamber was carried out by our technical and design department with the customer, designing equipment in accordance with their requirements.

CLIMATIC TEST CHAMBER FOR THE STUDY OF PHOTOSENSITIVE SENSORS, MODEL: CCK-40/300T

There are a considerable number of sensors for measuring all kinds of physical or chemical parameters, among which there are some sensors that can be photosensitive, where light can affect their performance. These sensors, as well as those that are not affected by light, must be subjected to climatic and thermal tests, to verify their performance under extreme conditions, but with the proviso that they must be climatic tests without the presence of light. For this purpose, the climatic chamber is built with a blind door, without a window, so that light access to the test chamber is reduced to a minimum. In addition, other parameters are taken into account to avoid possible reflections inside the chamber.

The CCK-40/300T climatic chamber has been modified to reduce the possible entry of light as much as possible, so that the sensors are not affected. It also has the capacity to control the climatic variables necessary to stress the electronic boards and photosensitive sensors.

TEMPERATURE TEST CHAMBER FOR AMMUNITION FIELD TESTS. MODEL, CCK-70/125

Within the quality control of armament ammunition, there are various types of environmental tests: thermal, climatic, solar radiation, corrosion, etc., with thermal tests being one of the most common. During these tests, the parts are subjected to both positive and negative temperatures, and this test has to be carried out both in the laboratory and in real field tests, where the sample is tempered before being used under the indicated conditions. In order to temper the samples, it must be possible to take the chamber to the field.

The thermal test chamber model CETM-70/125 has been developed to maintain a good ergonomics, positioning the control in the upper part of the chamber and the cooling group in the lower part, as well as vibration absorption systems for the transport of the equipment in a comfortable way in a lorry. In addition, the chamber has a temperature range from -70ºC to +150ºC, which allows it to cover all the thermal tests required by customers.

SPECIAL CLIMATIC TEST CHAMBER FOR PALEONTOLOGICAL TESTS. MODEL, CCK-25/2340MTe

Taphonomy is the part of palaeontology that studies the processes of fossilisation and the formation of fossil deposits. The aim of a test laboratory is to simulate the environmental conditions to which fossils will be subjected in nature, under controlled and repeatable conditions. Within pharmaceutical stability testing, there are various combinations of temperature and humidity for the validation of pharmaceutical products. For this reason, the climatic chambers must be flexible in their construction and in setting the working instructions, so that when the client wants to change the temperature and humidity ranges, he can modify the parameters without any problem.

The CCK-0/19200m chamber was designed in collaboration with the customer to determine the different possible working ranges in which the customer could work.
