Within the quality control of armament ammunition, there are various types of environmental tests: thermal, climatic, solar radiation, corrosion, etc., with thermal tests being one of the most common. During these tests, the parts are subjected to both positive and negative temperatures, and this test has to be carried out both in the laboratory and in real field tests, where the sample is tempered before being used under the indicated conditions. In order to temper the samples, it must be possible to take the chamber to the field.
The thermal test chamber model CETM-70/125 has been developed to maintain
a good ergonomics, positioning the control in the upper part of the chamber and
the cooling group in the lower part, as well as vibration absorption systems
for the transport of the equipment in a comfortable way in a lorry. In
addition, the chamber has a temperature range from -70ºC to +150ºC, which
allows it to cover all the thermal tests required by customers.
