This standard is used in
order to test the water resistance of coatings using treated specimen to a high
humidity and high temperature exposure, until condensation on the elements to
be tested.
It will create an atmosphere
consisting of a heated mixture of saturated air and water vapor. The
temperature is 38°C and a relative humidity of 100%. This environment is kept
in steady state conditions until you go producing condensation in samples. You will
be subsequently evaluated the piece being tested.
