The IEC 61215 standard is one of the standards used for the qualification of the quality of solar panels with a part dedicated to climatic tests to verify the performance and durability of solar panels. Specifically, the damp-heat cycle is used to determine the module’s ability to withstand the effects of long-term moisture penetration. This test consists of a climatic test at +85 °C and 85 % hr for 1000 hours.
The climatic chamber CCK-AMB/3452T is a climatic chamber developed for these demanding tests at high temperature and high humidity. Its volume allows several solar panels to be tested in parallel thanks to its reinforced floor. The system is made of high quality stainless steel both externally and internally, to withstand the demands of the tests for a long time.
