A technology center contacted us because they needed to test ceramic
tiles against sudden temperature changes according to the UNE-EN ISO 10545-9
standard, for sample validation, certification, and the development of new
materials.
Their requirements were:
👉 Compliance with EN ISO 10545-9.
👉 Capacity for large samples (650 x 650 mm).
👉 Precise control of all cycle variables.
👉 Remote PC connection.
OUR SOLUTION: Our air-water thermal shock chamber, CRT2VT-300T, a
thermal shock chamber with a usable capacity of 300 liters. The system
comprises two zones: a positive temperature compartment with a temperature
range up to +170°C and a thermostatically controlled bath for sample immersion
at +15°C, with a cooling system to chill the water and ensure maximum stability
and homogeneity throughout the bath. All of this is controlled by an advanced
processor for managing cycles, times, segments, transfer times, and residence
times. It also includes associated software for recording all tests and
generating test reports.
