Our client, a renowned independent laboratory specializing in the physical testing and validation of packaging for transport, needed to increase the number of units to expand its climate testing capacity.

The required specifications were:

👉 Medium-to-large chamber volume for all types of samples.

👉 Modular chamber that could be easily moved if needed.

👉 Temperature range down to -40ºC for ultra-freezing tests.

👉 Humidity control.

👉 High stability and uniformity.

OUR SOLUTION: Based on other models supplied to this client, we opted for two MODUBLOC climatic chambers, models CCK-40/5625T. These chambers have a 5.6 m³ internal volume capacity, a large access door, and a very vertical design to accommodate tall samples. The interior is made of stainless steel, and the exterior is mounted on a frame that allows for easy movement of the entire chamber unit if needed, while also providing a natural cooling zone. Temperature ranges from -40°C to +80°C, with gradients tailored to the client's requirements. All of this is controlled by an advanced touchscreen controller.

CETMB-30/4570T, temperature test chamber for isothermal packaging

Maintaining the cold chain during transport is a critical factor in the design, development, and validation of isothermal packaging for shipping pharmaceuticals, biological samples, blood products, and other temperature-sensitive materials. Ensuring the thermal integrity of these products is essential to preserving their efficacy, stability, and safety until the time of use. CLIMATE CHAMBER FOR PACKAGING QUALITY CONTROL WITH CLIMATE TESTS, CM-0/1500 1P

 Every day millions of packages are moved around the world in every country with different climatic conditions, but have you ever considered that for your package to arrive correctly the packaging in which it is sent has to pass climatic conditions to verify its resistance? The climatic conditions of each country are different in terms of temperature and humidity throughout the year and the packages are stored, transported and delivered in environmental conditions that can range from negative temperatures in winter to high temperatures and humidity in tropical areas. It is therefore necessary to test the different packaging to ensure that the material will withstand the goods and guarantee their safety.

The CM-0/1500 chamber has been designed to test packaging. With one door, it is a climatic system with a capacity of 1500 litres of internal dimensions: 1000 x 1000 x 1500 mm (height x width x depth), which allows tests from small samples to large assembled boxes thanks to its large front loading capacity and its useful space. The system has two shelves as standard, with the possibility of extending the number of shelves at a later date. Its simple control based on dual controllers allows the operator to select the temperature and humidity of the test without much hassle. In addition, the system has associated software for recording the test and reporting. To facilitate the installation, an external water tank was installed to supply the chamber with demineralised water.
