Thermal Testing for Nano-Satellites in the Aerospace Sector, CETM-70/6948T-5

In the development of nano-satellites and small-format space systems, thermal testing is a critical stage to ensure operational reliability under extreme environmental conditions. In orbit, these devices are subjected to severe thermal cycles, with rapid temperature shifts caused by solar exposure and shadowing.

DYCOMETAL’s thermal test chambers accurately simulate these conditions, reproducing controlled heating and cooling cycles to validate the behavior of materials, electronic components, batteries, sensors, and structural elements. These tests help identify potential failures due to thermal fatigue, differential expansion, delamination of composite materials, or malfunction of critical electronics.

Our chambers are designed to meet the most demanding international standards, offering high thermal uniformity, programmable ramp rates, and precise control in automated test environments.

With extensive experience in the aerospace sector, we collaborate with satellite manufacturers, universities, and research centers to deliver thermal testing solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each space mission.

Our CETM-70/1500T-5 is a high-gradient climatic chamber specifically designed with gradients of up to 5°C/min under load, allowing rapid thermal testing of samples. The chamber features 12 ports, 6 on each side, and was supplied with 3 reinforced trays to allow testing on the maximum number of samples at a time. Furthermore, the equipment is designed to prevent water buildup during cooling/heating cycles.

DYCOMETAL: testing today the reliability of the systems that will operate in the space of tomorrow.
