CETM-70/1450T, chamber for thermal testing in accordance with MIL-STD-810 method 501.7

One of the leading standards in environmental testing in the defence sector is MIL-STD 810, which covers the different environmental tests that samples must undergo to ensure their storage and operation throughout their useful life. This standard covers various test methods, and specifically, Method 501.7 is dedicated to high-temperature testing to evaluate the effects of high-temperature conditions on the safety, integrity and performance of the material, simulating conditions where temperatures (ambient or induced) are higher than standard ambient temperature. High temperatures can affect the performance of the material by modifying the physical properties or dimensions of the material or materials that compose it.

The DYCOMETAL climatic chamber, CETM-70/1450T, has been designed to comply with the tests indicated in this test method. The system has been adapted in volume to the customer’s needs. It has a reinforced floor for positioning the samples and two shelves for lighter samples. All of this is controlled by a 7″ touchscreen control panel with associated control and recording software on a PC.
