THERMAL TESTING FOR OPTICAL MEASUREMENTS UNDER CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS.

THERMAL TEST CHAMBER: CETM-70/125T
A client in the electronics sector was looking for a thermal test chamber for the characterization of materials and devices with optical properties (sensors, coatings, fibers, etc.). These elements are affected by environmental conditions.

Key points to consider:
👉 Variation of optical properties (transmittance, reflectance, refractive index) with temperature.
👉 Potential measurement errors due to thermal gradients or condensation on optical windows.
👉 Integration of optical instrumentation (sources, detectors, fibers) in a controlled environment without disturbing the sample.
👉 Need for reproducibility in thermal cycles (heating/cooling).
👉 Isolation from vibrations and external disturbances that could affect the optical signal.

Our client, in the electronics sector, needed a powerful temperature control system to evaluate how environmental conditions affect device behavior in order to analyze different technical parameters under controlled temperature conditions.

OUR SOLUTION: CETM-70/125T. A thermal testing chamber adapted to perform these tests, taking into account the client's needs. It features through-hole systems to support anti-vibration systems. The chamber has high-quality optical windows: one on the front and another located in the ceiling for conducting optical studies. It includes a system to prevent condensation on samples. A cryogenic nitrogen system allows for reaching extreme temperatures below +100°C. All of this is achieved while controlling the temperature of the sample.
