HOW TO TEST ELECTRONIC LOCKS. CCK-45/80T CLIMATIC CHAMBER (CO2)

With the rise of online sales, the demand for lockers has increased significantly, and many of these are installed outdoors. Therefore, they must withstand the most extreme weather conditions, ensuring that the opening/closing mechanism functions correctly under the harshest conditions.

Our client, a manufacturer of mechanical and electronic locks, needed equipment to perform environmental testing on their products.

The required specifications were:
👉 Compliance with IEC 60068-2 standards for climate testing
👉 Temperature range between -40°C and +150°C
👉 Relative humidity control up to 98% RH
👉 Performance of high temperature and humidity tests.
👉 Small Volume
👉 Eco-friendly CO2-based unit.

OUR SOLUTION: One of our small-volume chambers, the CCK-45/80T, with an interior volume of 80 liters (500 x 400 x 400 mm, H x W x D). This chamber allows for the installation of several small locks or one larger lock. Its CO2-based system (R-744) allows for temperatures as low as -45ºC, meeting the customer's needs.
