HOW TO TEST ELECTRONIC LOCKS. CCK-45/80T CLIMATIC CHAMBER (CO2)

With the rise of online sales, the demand for lockers has increased significantly, and many of these are installed outdoors. Therefore, they must withstand the most extreme weather conditions, ensuring that the opening/closing mechanism functions correctly under the harshest conditions.

Our client, a manufacturer of mechanical and electronic locks, needed equipment to perform environmental testing on their products.

The required specifications were:
馃憠 Compliance with IEC 60068-2 standards for climate testing
馃憠 Temperature range between -40°C and +150°C
馃憠 Relative humidity control up to 98% RH
馃憠 Performance of high temperature and humidity tests.
馃憠 Small Volume
馃憠 Eco-friendly CO2-based unit.

OUR SOLUTION: One of our small-volume chambers, the CCK-45/80T, with an interior volume of 80 liters (500 x 400 x 400 mm, H x W x D). This chamber allows for the installation of several small locks or one larger lock. Its CO2-based system (R-744) allows for temperatures as low as -45潞C, meeting the customer's needs.

CCK-40/648T-5, NEW CLIMATE CHAMBER SUPPLIED FOR TESTING INFO-ENTERTAINMENT DISPLAYS.

At Dycometal, we know that infotainment displays in trains, airplanes, and other modes of transport must offer flawless performance in any environmental condition. Our climate chambers allow for temperature, humidity, and combined cycle testing, simulating the real-world operating conditions these electronic systems face: sudden temperature changes, humid environments, or situations of high thermal stress. These tests guarantee the reliability, image stability, and durability of the displays, ensuring an optimal and safe user experience throughout the equipment's lifecycle.

Like our new climate chamber supplied for electronic components, the DYCOMETAL CCK-40/648T-5. A chamber with a temperature range of -40°C to +180°C, humidity control, and a 5°C/min temperature gradient across the entire range, for fast and reliable environmental testing. All of this is managed by our 7” screen-based control system and our brightly illuminated Totem display for the chamber's status

CCKMB-45/4000T, MODUBLOC CLIMATE CHAMBER WITH CO2 (R-744) COOLING FOR ELECTRONICS.

DYCOMETAL continues to take firm steps towards innovation and sustainability. Today we are pleased to announce the upcoming delivery of a new unit in the CCK-T-CO series, our line of environmental test chambers that focuses on more efficient and responsible cooling.

The star of the show is the CCKMB-45/4000T, equipped with a CO (R-744) cooling system, fully compliant with the requirements of the new European F-Gas regulation.

This technology not only reduces environmental impact but also offers exceptional technical performance, ensuring high precision in climatic conditions for quality, aging, reliability, and other critical testing processes in sectors such as automotive, electronics, aerospace, and scientific research.

The CCK-45/4000T climate chamber has a large volumetric capacity. With a temperature range from -45潞C to +70潞C, and controlled relative humidity from 15% to 90% RH, according to customer needs. Its double-leaf door allows access to the interior of the chamber for large samples. And thanks to its double viewing window, samples can be viewed from any position. Thanks to the CO2 (R-744) refrigeration system, gradients of 2 K/min can be achieved, all controlled by a 7” touchscreen and software connected to an external PC. At DYCOMETAL, we remain committed to offering solutions that combine sustainability, efficiency, and the highest quality.

We keep moving forward.
