The DIN 50 021-CASS standard
is used to test the corrosion resistance of the coatings, exposing the samples
to saline copper-acetic saline atmospheres and high temperature.
The samples are introduced into the chamber with an
acid atmosphere, ph between 3’1 to 3’3, and temperature of 50ºC. The volume of
the chamber will not be lower than 400 liters. The collection rate must to be
between 1 to 2 ml/hour.
