The DIN 50 021-SS standard is
used to test the corrosion resistance of the coatings, exposing the samples to
saline acid saline atmospheres and high temperature
The samples are introduced into the chamber with an
acid atmosphere, pH between 6’5 to 7’2, and temperature of 35ºC. The volume of
the chamber will not be lower than 400 liters. The collection rate must to be
between 2 ml/hour. The collector will have a surface of 80 cm2
