DRIVE-IN chambers

Climatic test reproduce the climatic conditions in temperature and humidity, to which the equipment or materials will be subjected during operation, transport or storage.

When we have to test samples with big dimensions and big weight, like complete vehicle; it’s not posible to test these samples in a estándar chamber. It is necessary to use modular climatic chambers like DRIVE-IN chambers.

DRIVE-IN chambers are a modification of the Walk-in chambers, where the customer can test cars, bus, trucks or also trains.

These chambers can simulate any kind of environmental conditions: temperatura, humidity, solar radiation, salt spray, dust, rain,…

Air forced heating oven (AFA Series)

Inside of environmental tests, heating ovens are used to condition the samples to a specific positive temperatura, drying or the accelerated aging of the samples.

Tempertaure range of the oven are from room temperatur plus 10ºC, to +300ºC or 400ºC, and the volumes go from the little  to more than 3000 liters.

Some standards which use this type of systems are: DIN 12 880, DIN 40046, DIN 58 945, IEC 68-2-2, MIL-STD 810D, MIL-STD 883, MIL-STD 883C, etc.,

Stress Screening Chamber, CCK ESS Series

The environmental tests are more exigent in temperature change rates. One of the most common test are the accelerated stress tests or Stress Screening (ESS); during these tests the sample to be tested must to endure high temperature change rates cooling and heating.

These temperature change rates can be varied between 5 and 12ºC/min. it submit the samples to high stress degree, so it can verify if exist some kind of defect in the samples guaranteeing the quality of the samples, and avoiding returns of samples during the guarantee period.

Dust test chamber, CP- Series

Dust test is done over different components to evaluate the IP degree protection in the dust test chambers.

The samples that are susceptible to this kind of test use to be: systems of street lighting, traffic lights, lighting and signal elements in automotion, electric and electronic elements of acoustic or lighting safety, electric panels, tight electric boxes, catadioptics, etc

The equipment is manufactured by a drip box (IPX1 and IPX2), two rain arcs and showers (IPX3 and IPX4). We have provided also the use of the circuits for 5 and 6 degree test.

The control of the systems comes commanded by a powerful microprocessor, which regulate wáter spray time, the measure of the wáter flow in l/min, and electrical feed to the sample by the connection box in the rotating plate.

PV 1200, Resistance to environmental cycle test

PV 1200 describes an environmental cycle test (elevated temperature/low temperature cycle) for testing units.

The samples will be placed in the test chamber, and will be exposed to an atmosphere of 80%RH and +80ºC (80/80). These conditions will be modified along the test to -40ºC and then will be rise to room temperature. The duration of the test will be 720 minutes.

Climatic Test Chamber: PV 2005 – Variant A

PV 2005 is used in automotive parts to do quality tests in order to evaluate their behavior during an accelerated climatic stress cycle.

Variant-A will be applied over the single parts, and it will be done in a climatic chamber. The duration for one cycle will be 12 hours, with temperature range between 80ºC and -35ºC, and with humidity range between 30 and 80% RH. It will exist a limitation in the water content of the air during the heating cycle.
The number of cycle depends of the specification of the product.
