TEMPERATURE TEST CHAMBER FOR TESTING ELECTRONIC RACKS IN THE RAILWAY INDUSTRY, CETM-40/1227m

The railway industry is booming, and this translates into increased production and maintenance of trains. Within the electronics of a train, there are power racks that have to be tested under extreme conditions to ensure their correct operation under any temperature conditions.

The CETM-40/1227m model has a vertical configuration to easily introduce a trolley with several racks in parallel, so that they can be tested at the same time reducing times. But then the total power generated by the racks rises, since all the equipment will be dissipating energy, that is why the CETM-40/1227 chamber has been designed to be able to compensate all the energy generated by all the power racks. CLIMATIC CHAMBER FOR ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS TESTING, MODEL: CCKMB-0/4715T

In our everyday life there are electronic components that do not suffer the extreme environmental conditions that others are subjected to. Components that surround us such as defibrillators, water meters, etc. Everyday elements that we can see in rooms where the environmental conditions will be moderate, which does not mean that they should not be subjected to climatic tests to verify their behaviour under different temperature and humidity conditions. Components of this type also have to be certified to work under ambient conditions.

Thus, our CCKMB-0/4715T has been developed to have a climatic chamber with positive temperature conditions (+20 ºC to +60 ºC) and a less extreme humidity control (50% to 90% hr) that allows environmental tests to be carried out on real conditions that the samples will face. Its vertical design allows samples to be easily and conveniently inserted into trolleys, allowing a large number of samples to be tested in parallel. The chamber has a double door for direct access to two interior work areas, so that, depending on the test time, the parts can be conveniently removed without disturbing the test conditions of the other parts. All tests can be recorded for later processing and reporting.

OBSERVATION WINDOW, YES OR NOT?

 The climatic chambers can be built with or without observation window to visualise the samples during the climatic tests, but sometimes the samples are photo-sensitive or the external radiation can influence their behaviour, that is why sometimes the clients ask us for chambers without observation window.

DYCOMETAL installs observation windows as standard for the complete visualisation of the test. The window also includes an interior lighting system. But if you do not wish to have an observation window, please let us know so that we can take it into account in the manufacture of your equipment. In addition, you will receive an associated discount on the cost of the window.

1055 LITER INSULATED TEST BOX (WORKSPACE) FOR EXTERNAL GENERATOR

 Sometimes our customers of external climatic conditioning systems (thermal or climatic generators) want to be able to change the test box (test enclosure) in order to be able to adapt to other types of test rigs or new samples. This is often the case in the aerospace industry, where different specimen sizes have to be tested under extreme conditions.

Our client was looking for a very versatile drawer to be combined with a new test bench, so it was completely custom-made, starting with the interior measurements: 750 x 800 x 1500 mm (Height x Width x Depth). The drawer had two doors on the wide side of the chamber for easy access to the samples, with the test stopping when the doors were opened. Both doors had tempered glass. Interior light allowed viewing of test specimens.

But what really made this test enclosure special was the removable floor made of special resin and machined in several parts to adapt the drawer as required.

This is one of the advantages of an external climatic generator, the need not to be limited to a single test enclosure.

SSC-2000 NG, SALT SPRAY CHAMBER. CORROSION TESTS FOR DEFENCE INDUSTRY

A reference standard within the environmental tests applied in defence is MIL STD-810, which is a guide on the different environmental tests necessary to apply depending on the type of sample. And within this standard, there is a section referring to corrosion tests in a saline atmosphere. This type of test is carried out in chambers known as salt spray chambers. The samples to be tested can be large batches or large sizes. Our model SSC-2000 NG is the ideal model when a large working space is required.

The SSC-2000 NG has an actual volumetric capacity of 2000 litres, with internal dimensions of 1000 x 2000 x 1000 (H x W x D), with a reinforced floor capable of supporting large batches of samples or heavy samples. The equipment is supplied with support bars to place or hang the samples and a floor protection against impacts. Control is via a colour touch screen with data logging and export capability.
