UNE-EN-60068-2-11, NEUTRAL SALT SPRAY TEST (NSS)
The purpose of this test is
to determine the capacity of the equipment to be stored or used under
conditions of high humidity combined with high salinity conditions. This test
is known like NSS test (Neutral Salt Spray test).
The sample will be tested in
a neutral salinity atmosphere (pH 6,5 -7,2), with a fallout rate between 1 and
2 ml/80cm2/hour, while the temperature of the chamber is +35ºC, the time of the test could vary.

UNE-EN-60068-2-30, DAMP HEAT TEST, Cyclic
The purpose of this test is
to determine the capacity of the equipment to be stored or used under
conditions of high humidity combined with cyclic variations of temperature and,
in general, with condensation to form on its surface.
To do this, use option 2 of
the test preferred UNE 135401-2 EX 1 standard, which is defined in the standard
EN 60068-2-30 Db (damp heat cyclic test) 16. This standard also defines use
test devices and procedures of preparation, recovery and measures. The test
will take place with the equipment with
its maximum settings and load and operating conditions. The minimum severity of
the test will be: temperature: 40 ° C number of cycles: 2.
The manufacturer may choose
to certify a higher severity, by selecting other values of temperature and
number of cycles among those defined by the standard.

HUMID CHAMBER FOR CONDITIONING OF PLASTIC PARTS
Within the plastic industry,
polyamide parts must be upgraded to high temperatures and humidity for
dimensional stability and impact resistance.
For a homogeneous
conditioning, humidity chambers, have a uniform airflow, which guarantees that
all parts have the same conditions of temperature and humidity. These cameras
tend to be built in stainless steel internally and its internal dimensions tend
to be high-volume to put up the largest number of samples simultaneously.

simulation chambers for environmental testing, offers customers High
Humidity Test Chambers to

Accelerated aging in plastic parts: Rain
Currently, plastic parts
make up most of the things that surround us: cars, computers, etc. These pieces
have been of different quality controls other than the metallic materials.
There are many types of plastic, but a difference among them is the time of
degradation to which they are subject from its manufacture.
Rain is another factor
affecting the degradation of plastic parts. The most prominent trials are those
during which parts are wet (dew, rain or moisture after rain periods). Water
can contribute to the degradation of plastics.

Accelerated aging in plastic parts: Temperature
Currently, plastic parts
make up most of the things that surround us: cars, computers, etc. These pieces
have been of different quality controls other than the metallic materials.
There are many types of plastic, but a difference among them is the time of degradation
to which they are subject from its manufacture.
Temperature is one of the
factors affecting the degradation, all chemical reaction is accelerated with
increasing temperature, and plastics are no exception, so increasing
temperature on plastic parts we increase the degradation of the same. Plastics
have a low thermal conductivity, so that if a piece of plastic is exposed to
the Sun, its temperature will increase much more, and can reach temperatures
well above room temperature..

Aging accelerated in plastic parts: RADIATION
Currently, plastic parts
make up most of the things that surround us: cars, computers, etc. These pieces
have been of different quality controls, non-metallic materials. There are many
types of plastic, but a difference among them is the time of degradation to
which they are subject from its manufacture.
One of the factors affecting
the degradation is the solar radiation: ultraviolet (UV), visible and infrared
(IR); still it UV which most affects the molecular structure of the plastic,
accelerating the process of degradation. UV light, accelerated aging chambers
allow the simulation of the conditions that the plastic will face during its
life, at a certain temperature and under conditions of UV radiation.

The objective of this test
is determine the capacity of the electronic equipments to be storage or used
under high temperatures.
For this purpose is used the
Bd test (dry heat test for samples with low variation of temperature) recommended
the standard UNE 135401-2 EX, which is found in the standard EN 60068-2-1.
The test will be done with
the equipments in their máximum configuration and load in a workspace with
enough dimensions to do tests. The minimum several of temperature will be 60ºC.
The manufacturer could opt for certify a lower temperature, between the defined
standards
The minimum exposure to a
lower temperature will be 16 hours, from the stabilization of the chamber.

UNE-EN-60068-2-1, COLD TEST
The objective of this test
is determine the capacity of the electronic equipments to be storage or used
under low temperatures.
For this purpose is used the
test Ab (cold test for samples that do not dissipate heat with low temperature
variation), recommended the standard UNE 135401-2 EX, which is found in the
standard EN 60068-2-1. This standards define the equipments to use in the test
and the conditioning procedures with the máximum configuration and load, and
under conditions of not work, excepting in the last period of low temperature.
The minimum severity of the temperature will be -10ºC. The manufacturer could
opt for certify a lower temperature, between the defined standards
The minimum exposure to a
lower temperature will be 16 hours, from the stabilization of the chamber.

DYCOMETAL BIO-SCIENCE CHAMBERS
In the R&D market, the
climatic chamber has an important application inside of the botanic sector,
thanks to the Plants Growth Chambers and seeds germination chamber.
These chambers present the
optimal conditions in humidity, temperature and solar radiation, to generate
the optimal atmosphere for the growing of the plants. It’s possible to control
other variables like gases (CO2, CO, etc).
The dimensions of the
chamber can change from the smaller laboratory until the walk-in chambers,
where is possible to do extensive cultives.

MIL-STD-810, SALT SPRAY TEST
The objective of the
salt spray test is to determine the effectiveness of protective coatings and
surface finishes, and is used to determine the effects of salt deposicones in
electrical and physical materials.
The samples will be placed in the chamber, and
they will be exposed to an indirect salt spray with neutral pH (beween 6.5 to
7.2). the concentration must to be 5±1%, and the falla-out rate must to be
between 0.5 and 3 ml/80cm2/hour. The temperature of the test will be +35ºC.
After 48 hours of test, the samples will be dried another 48 hours.

MIL-STD-810 Method 506.4, RAIN TESTRAIN TEST CHAMBER
The Rain tightness tests are performed to different components to
evaluate the IP degree of protection, in the Rain test Chambers.
MIL-STD-810 test method in its
method 506.4, to evaluate any element to be exposed to rain, spraying or dripping
water during storage or transport operation.
Its goal is to determine:
- The
effectiveness of covers, housings and seals to prevent water penetration into
the material
-
The
ability of the material to satisfy the requirements before and after exposure
to water
-
Determine
whether there is any physical deterioration of the material caused by rain
- The
effectiveness of any system of water extraction
-
The
effectiveness of protection offered by the material.

MIL-STD-810 Method 510.4, Dust and Sand Test
The dust tightness tests are performed to different components to
evaluate the IP degree of protection, in the Dust Chambers.
MIL-STD-810 test
method in its method 510.4, set the test parameters to assess any mechanical,
optical, electrical, electronic, electromechanical and electrochemical element
which may be exposed during use or storage in dusty atmospheres or sand.
This standard
establishes two parts:
• Small
particles of dust (˂149 microns) to assess the system's resistance to dust
against obstructions, cracks, etc.
• Blowing
sand (150-850 microns) to evaluate the systems and determine whether the
material can be stored and operated under conditions of blowing sand without
degrading performance.
