AFA-150/11300, WALK-IN FORCED AIR HEATING OVEN

With a volume of 11,300 litres, the oven has a large volumetric capacity to condition a large number of samples in parallel. The internal dimensions: 1850 x 1700 x 3600 mm, also allow for the positioning of very tall samples. The oven has been configured with a heating gradient of 3°C/min, taking into account a full oven: 400 kg of metal, 100 kg of plastic and 20 kg of glass. A total of 520 kg, which means that the floor has been reinforced to withstand this mass. All parameters have been adjusted so that the oven has a maximum uncertainty of +/- 2 ºC, after ENAC calibration.

The oven has also been configured with two access doors, front and rear, for easier sample handling. For viewing the interior, the oven has an observation window in each door, with interior lighting. The doors have been painted in the customer’s corporate colour.

The oven has a 120 mm wall pass-through, so that probes or cables can be inserted if the customer needs them.

The interior is made of stainless steel, with rails and hooks at the top for hanging the parts to be tested.

The control by means of programming allows temperature cycles to be carried out and, thanks to the remote control and recording programme, all the test data can be stored so that reports can be made at a later date. Communication is via TCP/IP port. In addition, the system has a weekly time programmer for start-up according to the calendar.

An additional safety thermostat will ensure that the samples are not damaged (safety thermostat on sample).

The oven can be positioned in any location thanks to its wheels for easy movement.

AFA-300/80, FORCED AIR HEATING OVEN FOR AEROSPACE INDUSTRY

The aerospace industry has one of the most demanding set of tests in the market, as the materials that will be used during the development of any item or material destined to travel in space will be subjected to the most stringent environmental conditions during their use. This means that tests on existing or new materials must be extremely demanding, such as tests on extreme temperatures.

The AFA-300/80 is a forced air heating oven designed to perform high temperature tests on materials for more than 18 hours each day to demonstrate their durability at high temperatures. The control system is based on a simple regulator to set the desired working point, and the external control and recording software allows to record the test data in order to be able to make a report later on.

CETM-70/3480T-5, SPECIAL TEMPERATURE TEST CHAMBER FOR STEERING COLUMNS

 When we talk about test benches combined with a climatic chamber, we are talking about special solutions, solutions that allow the introduction of several test benches inside the chamber and taking into account all the parameters required by the customer. For the steering columns, gradients, masses, materials, etc. have to be taken into account in order to have a chamber that meets the real expectations of the customer. An important mass will be introduced into the equipment, since the steering columns will be fixed on support tables where they will be tested.

The thermal test chamber, CETM-70/3480T-5 has been completely designed for the customer. Since the customer was going to test complete benches, the floor has been reinforced for 500 kg, including a special insulation to avoid loss of transmissions through the floor of the chamber itself. The chamber has 4 double doors to allow access from both sides of the chamber to the test benches and to be able to work in total comfort. The 10″ HMI has a menu in the customer’s language, allowing a clear display of the test values. The access ports are located in the ceiling of the chamber, with a diameter of 200 mm, which is large enough to allow large hoses or cables to pass through.

But the outer construction of the chamber is not the only thing that is custom-made. The cooling unit has been designed to be able to carry out load tests between -40ºC and +120ºC, taking into account the mass and a heating and cooling speed of 5 K/min.

CP-442e, DUST TEST CHAMBER, SPECIAL DESIGN

The standard IEC-60529 for degrees of protection against access to against solid foreign objects, dust tests (IP code), establishes that when carrying out the test it must be taken into account that the sample must be placed inside the chamber with enough space to allow the movement of the dust around the sample during the test, but of course, not all samples are the same, nor do they have the same size and weight. CETM-70/2000T-1P, THERMAL TEMPERATURE TEST CHAMBER FOR DEFENCE INDUSTRY

Within the standard chamber designs, we have a large volume chamber with a large depth that allows large samples to be placed horizontally, thanks to its 2000 mm depth. This chamber has already been previously supplied to our client who has requested another similar model to carry out his temperature tests within the defence industry.

Our thermal test chamber model CETM-70/2000T-1P has an interior volume of 1000 x 1000 x 2000 mm (H x W x D), which, thanks to its double reinforced tray and its reinforced floor, allows testing large masses of samples, as well as long pieces. Its advanced control based on a touch screen allows easy access to the different menus, as well as the possibility of remote programming thanks to the software supplied with the equipment.

BTI-450e, WATER THERMOSTATIC BATH FOR BUILDING MATERIALS

 All the materials that surround us must pass strict quality controls based on environmental tests, although at first glance we may not realize it. Such as construction materials. Did you know that concrete has strict conditions for its conservation? This test consists of storing the concrete specimens in water at a temperature of +20 ºC. This entails a high-volume, temperature-controlled bath to store the largest number of test tubes. And cooling/heating a bath with a volume of 450 liters of water requires an important technical system.

Our BTI-450e thermostic bath has been designed according to the customer’s needs. Based on a robust design with an AISI316 stainless steel interior, which allows it to withstand the test conditions over time. The exterior is made of painted AISI304 stainless steel for greater durability. To be able to place the samples, 6 independent holes are made with interior baskets for better extraction. Each basket with a capacity of 35 samples. The microprocessor-based control allows precise control of the working temperature of the bath, placing it at +20 ºC, for homogeneous sample conservation.

CMMB-0/2949, MOBILE STABILITY CLIMATIC TEST CHAMBER FOR PHARMA

 The chambers intended for pharmaceutical stability tests for large batches, usually have large volumes and dimensions, being manufactured in insulating panels, but when you want to change the location of the chambers problems can arise, you have to disassemble them panel by panel and reinstall them in the new location, which sometimes involves logistical problems.

At Dycometal, we have developed the concept of a climatic chamber manufactured in a large volume panel, which we call Modubloc. This chamber is based on a modular construction of insulating panel built on a structure to give mobility to the chamber, so that the transfer of the chamber to a new location can be done easily by means of transport elements. For example, our model CMMB-0/2949, a medium-volume chamber with a large storage capacity. The cooling unit is integrated into the structure for the joint movement of the whole system, and allows the joint movement in a simple way without the need of pulling new pipes. BTI-1518, THERMOSTATIZED IMMERSION BATH FOR CYCLIC TEMPERATURE TESTING OF TELECOMMUNICATION ELEMENTS

Environmental tests can be very diverse and can be performed in different environments depending on where the samples to be tested will be used, either in air or underwater in temperature controlled conditions. When tests are performed underwater instead of in air, temperature-controlled immersion baths are used, such as our BTI-1518 bath developed for testing fiber optic equipment and accessories.
