CLIMATIC CHAMBER FOR CONSTRUCTION TESTS WITH GWP LESS THAN 150 ACCORDING TO F-GAS, CCK-30/3000T

 Building materials are diverse and made of different materials, each with a different resistance to weathering or indoor conditions, which means that tests on materials are diverse and under different environmental conditions. The climatic chamber model CCK-30/3000T has been built to be able to fulfil a large number of tests for different materials and under different climatic conditions, from freezing tests to high temperature and high humidity tests. The equipment has been internally reinforced to withstand heavy weights and made of high quality stainless steel on the inside. In addition, the chamber has been manufactured with a refrigeration system with a GWP of less than 150 in accordance with the new European refrigerant gas standard, F-gas.

FREEZE-THAWING CHAMBER FOR BUILDING MATERIALS, CHD-896

 Building materials installed outdoors have to withstand strong climatic conditions for years: rain, ice, sun, wind, etc. In winter is when they experience the greatest thermal changes with day/night cycles, with moisture absorption during the day, frost at night, rain, etc., causing significant degradation of the material. The freeze-thaw chambers are designed to carry out the most demanding thermal tests. CCK-5/1200ICH, CLIMATIC CHAMBER FOR ADHESIVES, SEALANTS AND CHEMICALS FOR CONSTRUCTION

CLIMATIC TEST CHAMBER FOR CARBONATION TESTS, CCK-0/300Tg

In the construction industry, reinforced concrete structures are built with conventional steel reinforcement which must be protected by a sufficient layer of concrete to guarantee the service life of the steel. Carbonation corrosion tests are used to evaluate the strength of the concrete in order to analyse the resistance capacity of the material. This type of test is carried out in a climatic chamber modified for this type of test.

Our CCK-0/300Tg has been modified to meet different carbonation standards. With an interior made of AISI316 stainless steel, it can withstand the tests over time, and the CO2 analyser will allow to control the concentration of CO2 in the environment, regulating the amount injected according to the regulations.

CLIMATIC TEST CHAMBER FOR BUILDING MATERIALS, CCK-40/512T

There are numerous testing standards for building materials, ranging from curing standards, freeze-thaw, variable climate, carbonation, etc. All of them have different environmental test conditions depending on the type of product and its application, since the resistance of the materials for storage, use and useful life against the most adverse atmospheric conditions on the planet must be guaranteed. There is no chamber on the market that allows all the tests to be carried out in a single chamber, but we can combine many of them to be able to carry out as many tests as possible.

CLIMATIC CHAMBER FOR TESTING THERMAL INSULATION PRODUCTS IN BUILDINGS, CCK-0/81

One of the most commonly used elements in building construction today are insulating panels due to their speed of assembly, their insulating capacity and their rapid manufacture. However, in order to guarantee their durability over time in outdoor conditions, there are various standards to verify the resistance of materials to climatic conditions. One such standard is EN 1604, a standard that specifies equipment and procedures for evaluating dimensional changes of test specimens under specified conditions of temperature, relative humidity and duration of exposure.

Our bench-top chamber model CCK-0/80 allows for the high temperature and high humidity conditions required by the standard, when the customer wants to perform scale tests on small specimens. BTI-450e, WATER THERMOSTATIC BATH FOR BUILDING MATERIALS

 All the materials that surround us must pass strict quality controls based on environmental tests, although at first glance we may not realize it. Such as construction materials. Did you know that concrete has strict conditions for its conservation? This test consists of storing the concrete specimens in water at a temperature of +20 ºC. This entails a high-volume, temperature-controlled bath to store the largest number of test tubes. And cooling/heating a bath with a volume of 450 liters of water requires an important technical system.

Our BTI-450e thermostic bath has been designed according to the customer’s needs. Based on a robust design with an AISI316 stainless steel interior, which allows it to withstand the test conditions over time. The exterior is made of painted AISI304 stainless steel for greater durability. To be able to place the samples, 6 independent holes are made with interior baskets for better extraction. Each basket with a capacity of 35 samples. The microprocessor-based control allows precise control of the working temperature of the bath, placing it at +20 ºC, for homogeneous sample conservation.

SOLAR SIMULATION CHAMBER FOR AGING TESTS ON BUILDING MATERIALS, CL-294

Solar radiation is one of the main degradation factors for different materials exposed to sunlight. An accelerated ageing test using solar simulation will allow the durability of construction materials or raw materials, etc. to be assessed. This type of accelerated tests can control the energy radiated on a surface, as well as the temperature, allowing to simulate the climatic conditions that will degrade the materials outdoors and to verify that there is no non-conformity in the product.

Our CL-294 chamber has been designed to be able to carry out solar simulation tests under controlled temperature environments. A system of thermal insulation (ETICS) is a constructive solution of several materials to isolate the facade of buildings both acoustically and thermally from the outside. This insulation must be constructed in accordance with European technical evaluation specifications, which guarantee that the product can be used once its performance has been verified.

This set of materials should be constructed and tested according to a guide, ETAG 004, which establishes a series of tests to verify their reliability, among which are the tests of hygrothermal behaviour to determine the specification of the product to be analysed, which They will perform in a climatic chamber.

The building materials have to be tested under conditions of resistance to demonstrate the hardness of the materials to suffer the environmental conditions, but before the samples are tested under resistances parameters, they must to be cured in a climatic chamber under controlled conditions of temperature and humidity.


The design of the CCK-0/630 is perfect to introduce the samples with a high   ergonomics. The cooling group is placed in the top of the chamber in order to give a full access to the entire workspace, from the ceiling to the floor of the chamber. PRODUCT BULLETIN: CCK-25/180c, Carbonation Chamber

The carbonation is the pH loss when the atmospheric CO2 reacts with the humidity of the concrete samples, generating an acid atmosphere. This process happens all days, and affects to the reinforced concrete and induces the corrosion of the steel. The structures could suffer a serious damage.

Carbonation tests will be done in modified chambers with CO2 detector/analyzers with the possibility to detect the CO2 concentration in different range of temperature and humidity. It’s recommended manufacture the chamber with a robust stainless steel alloy because the gas of the reaction are corrosive, for example AISI 316.

BUILDING. Freeze-thaw chamber over TILES.

All products that We met at the day, must be tested against weather conditions, including elements that happen to us unnoticed as our roof shingles. These building elements have to be tested to simulated weather conditions which will face over its lifetime.
